Teachers…you have my heart.
You likely went into the field of teaching because you love kids, have a passion for helping them, and a love of learning.
But let’s be real, you probably have never worked 40 hours (or less) a week, you take home work, and at times, you are a counselor, a therapist, a friend, an organizer, an interventionist, a presenter, a coach, an entertainer, safety expert and oh yeah - you need to stay at the top of your field with professional development.
You may get 20 minutes to scarf down your lunch, and sometimes you don’t even get that at all. You have lots of red tape, endless paperwork and may feel like you’re swimming against the tide.
Things are supposed to be easier for you.
You put all of yourself into your teaching…and yet, every year, there feels like there is ONE. MORE. THING. added to your plate.
I remember…and I will forever have the deepest respect for teachers.
That’s why I invite you to connect with me - I want to help you so that you can feel more balance - healthier and happier at home and at work.
Therefore, I will always offer a teacher discount. It’s the least I can do.
In fact, this year I am reaching out to administrators in local districts* to allow me to offer coaching for teachers and have it be at no cost to you, rather, the school would use professional development funds.
After all, if you’re happier & healthier and thus, better for your kids, doesn’t that help the school’s goals, mission statement and results? I also offer an option of working with your students on wellness practices and will offer a workshop for the parents of your students on family wellness at home.
My goal is to help you prioritize yourself through nutrition and lifestyle changes that bring the feeling of balance to your life - so that you feel your best and can still give your best to your students.
Let’s get better together!
*If you teach in Portsmouth, here is my current offering. The SAU has approved this to come out of your PD funds. Check it out HERE.
